FFIEC HMDA public data
What people actually paid, by county
Median interest rates and closing costs from the federal HMDA records nearly every mortgage lender must file: first-lien, owner-occupied home loans, grouped by county and by lender. These are closed loans, not quotes; the methodology page documents every filter. Data loads year by year, so states and counties appear here as their numbers arrive.

Or look up a lender by name
Every reporting lender has a page showing what its borrowers paid, county by county, next to each county's median. The lender index lists the largest ones.
